Sporting JAX has teamed up with Elite Promotions, the organizers of The Stateside Cup coming to Jacksonville, and Florida Elite Soccer Academy, to present a special soccer clinic for boys and girls ages 4-18 of all skill levels prior to the showpiece match-up between English Premier clubs, Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham United, on July 27 at EverBank Stadium.
Sporting JAX co-owner and Jacksonville Jaguars’ legend Fred Taylor joined with local youth soccer players at the Flex Field to launch pre-registration for the special one-off youth clinic.
Sporting JAX’s technical director Mauricio Ruiz, and former Wolves and West Ham players and coaches, will join with coaches from Florida Elite to present the pre-match clinic. The clinic will be held from 5 – 6 p.m. at the Dream Finders Homes Flex Field at Daily’s Place. The cost is $65 and includes a ticket to The Stateside Cup, which begins at 7 p.m. that evening. Family and friends of clinic participants can also purchase specially priced game tickets for $55 when registering their child for the clinic.
